The Capsules are bringing their dense dusky dance beats across the pond for the UK release of their debut Northern Lights & Southern Skies. It’s a chilly and haunting affair, made much more lush and bright with the opulent girl-next-door Julie Shields on vocals (and the sweet love story in their biography)
They’ve had conisderable success already. Their songs have been used in several video games, including the megahit Borderlands 2 and enviably they’ve had a song featured on Spongebob Squarepants. They have shared the stage with lot of great acts including The Flaming Lips, Garbage, Low, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Pinback, Juliana Hatfield, and The Mountain Goats.

Doctor´s Orders, The new lager from Hospital Records!

Hospital Records & Signature Brew have announced the release of a new unique 5.2% ABV craft lager – Doctor’s Orders. The world of dance music has, for some time been lumbered with insipid lagers and sugar drenched shots, so they wanted to create a drink that gives fans the real taste of beer.
The beer was released on Friday 25th May at Hospitality Brixton Academy. An extensive tasting and research session between Head Brewer Tom Bott and the team and artists from Hospital Records, led to the creation of the unique recipe. Saaz hops were used to give a fantastic Czech Pilsner character which works perfectly in harmony with the Munich and Vienna malts to create a refreshing malt forward lager. Fine carbonation combined with a delicately balanced and sweet finish means this is a refreshing and satiating beer to be enjoyed at any time of the night.
