Fiona Bevan has announced a series of gigs ahead of the release of her debut album Talk To Strangers, out April 28th on Navigator Records. In April, Fiona is playing two shows on the Kent coast, in Westgate-On-Sea (16th) and Deal (17th), before heading to Suffolk for a show in her hometown of Sudbury on Record Store Day, April 19th. She’ll be playing an acoustic set at Compact Music, the local record shop where she had a Saturday job as teenager.
Back in her adopted hometown of London, as well as her residency at Servant Jazz Quarters this Wednesday 5th March and then Wednesday April 2nd, Fiona will be playing an album launch show at Underbelly Hoxton Square on May 1st. Also in May she will also be collaborating with acclaimed musician and composer Soumik Datta’s Circle Of Sound at the Southbank Centre (20th), and supporting Gwyneth Hebert at Newbury Festival (17th).
Fiona’s debut single The Machine – available with an Ed Harcourt remix featuring rapper Fem Fel – is released next Monday March 10th.
